Pours to a off lemon hazey color leaving a quick white head. Smells like a basement and herbs leaving behind a skunky taste with a hint of hay. Aftertaste lingers

Pours a hazy golden straw, with a good amount of particles. A large, frothy white head slowly reduced to a thick, solid white film that left a great lacing. Strong aroma of straw, cooked corn, and a slight mold – a dry haystack on a warm summer day. The aroma is clearly one of the foremost aspects of drinking this beer and one gets the feeling you either love it or hate it. Soft yet clearly present carbonation with a slightly oily palate. A very appealing and substantive taste of corn and muted clove, undercooked bread, long lasting wheat finish. Almost no bitterness. An ideal relaxing and refreshing beer for a hot summer day. Overall a very well made beer. Can’t go wrong here at all.

Bottled. Tumbler. I’m a long fan of this beer, so fair warning of bias. The aroma of Hoegaarden has always captivated me. Complex scents of yeast, lemon/citrus, wheat malts, floral bouquet that is sweet and inviting. That said, the appearance hasn’t ever taken my breath away being as pale and difficult to have any good head retention. The sweet lemon/wheat flavors are balanced with yeast and spice. A very refreshing beer with a medium-light body. Excellent.

Definitely one of the leaders in making a great Belgium white beer. The flavours are great and although I have found a couple of others that rate up there with this one it will definitely reign as the original white beer. Great wheat smell and taste with hints of spice. Not quite as much fruitiness as most of the micros tend to add.

Citromosság: jó. Koriander: nem szeretem, de itt nem zavar. Nagyon könnyed. Nyitásnak az egyik legjobb. A Blanche jobb.

Belgian whites arent my thing. The taste is too mild and the fruityness is overpowering in such a light beer.

Light hazy color. Strong spice particularly clove. A bit citrus and tart. Enjoy it.

Striking color when poured. Looks unfiltered and very cloudy. The head is white and fluffy. The taste is sweet but not overpowering. I don’t taste the banana everyone else talks about, but there is something fruit like about this beer. It is easy to drink, tastes good and is complex. This is one of the better beers I’ve had in a while. Still...nothing that I’ll probably get again. It just doesn’t hit my right spot.
