Have to be in the right mood to drink this wit. I always need a lemon to cut the sweetness. Very full pleasing flavor.

I think you have to have a taste for bottle-conditioned beer. This has to be fresh, otherwise you get clumps of yeast at the bottom of the bottle and it starts to taste like fermented grape juice. (No, not wine.)

Smooth finish. I think it is one of the best white beers Belgium produces.

Drank my first Hoegaarden today! I must say it was a pleasurable experience. It had a creamy texture, but still was refreshing. overall a beer worth trying.

i love wheat beers and so far this is the best. a light crisp taste and very refreshing. the best on a hot summer day. not heavy at all on the palate.

Excellent beer. One of my favorties. Have tried it both out of the bottle and tap. Nice color and head. Very refreshing. I only wish it was more readily available. I usually have to go to specialty stores to buy it.

Lovely cloudy yellow color. Looks like a beer that should be drank on a hot summer day (although right now it is frigid and it tastes fine). Somewhat fruity, a nice bite on the front of the tongue but a very nice finish.
