Aroma is spicy with a hint of orange. Pours a hazy, cloudy light orange/yellow color. Frothy white head. Light on the palate. Heard many great things about this beer, some said its the best they’ve ever had. The beer didn’t meet my high expectations. You can taste a slight bit of orange while spices, possibly nutmeg, were the overpowering taste. Don’t get me wrong, this is a very good beer, but it wasn’t as amazing as people told me. Enjoy it, but don’t be fooled by those who say this is the best beer they’ve had. 12/20

33 cl bottle. Straw color, cloudy liquid and beautiful white head. This beer has a wonderful aroma and taste. Citrus, coriander, hop and wheat notes. The sweet and sour taste is perfectly achieved, very balanced and smooth. However, this beer has its weakness on the palate. The texture is creamy, but I think that the body is too light and watery. The carbonation is lively and the finish is smooth and tasteful. A very good beer, great drinkability, although a little watery.

It’s a classic its hot and its Friday afternoon so therefore a nice wheat beer is a good thing. Not a lot of taste but the taste that’s thee is the right one. A cold soothing bubbly beverage worth tasting if you haven’t.

On tap at Kreegans. Poured into a standard pint glass. Pours a hazy straw color with little head (more of a bad pour than a characteristic of the beer). Also served with a lemon that i discarded The nose was a pleasant lemony, zesty coriander. Very nice. The taste followed suit with lots of lemon peel and spiciness; coriander and kind of white pepper. The mouthfeel was a little thin but finished quite crisp and refreshing. Great beer for the summertime.

Nice Belgian Wheat. Flavors a little too sharp for me. I prefer the Sam Adams Weiss Bier. Sue me, i’m an American...

smooth, but not in a light beer kind of way. not as overpowering as blue moon. seems watered down at first, but the more you drink it, the more you realize it isn't

Honestly is like drinking potpourri. You can taste the lavender and orange peels. However these tastes overpower the toasted wheats. Cheers.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2007 Tap...poured in its own special glass...nice banana color and murky...left 2" creamy white head. Mild spice, orange and nut aroma. Can taste the citrus(did not add slice of orange). No real aftertaste and stays mild, not unexciting...just mild. Easy drink, good session beer and a must for summertime. Please drop the Blue Moon and pick this up.
