The aroma is full of cereal maltiness an bread. The appearance of this beer is one of itís best qualities. It has a ghostly, hazily pale color. The head is gorgeous and full of beautiful belgian lace, and takes up a fourth of the glass. I am normally not a wheat beer fan, but the sour/sweet taste is wonderful. The body is light but satisfying, with a moderately thick texture, and highly effervescent carbonation. Utterly delicous.

Serving Size: 12oz Bottle poured into a pint glass
Appearance: Nice white head with a little staying power and little lacing. Very hazy, very light yellow almost white in color, like a banana creamcicle.
Aroma: Strong wheat scent with some orange and honey. Smells very refreshing.
Taste: Very crisp with good carbonation. Nice earthy taste that isnít overpowering but rather smooth. Finishes with a nice citrus flavor and a little honey.
Feel: Carbonation that tingles in my mouth with a medium body.
Overall: A really nice beer, goes down very smooth and refreshing, like a nice summer afternoon. Definitely would recommend this and will pick it up again sometime.

Simply my all time favourite. Tried tons of white beers and this beats them all. Stylish, refreshing, inspiring: you canít say you love belgian whites if you never tried the classic Hoegaarden in its traditional giant glass!

Great beer. First wheat beer and definitely not my last. Great citrus flavour with a wheat aftertaste excellent!

Cloudy yellow with a big white head. Not too strong on the nose. Taste is dominated by citrus, with wheat and floral notes. Faint coriander. Witbier not my prefered beerstyle, but this is not bad, refreshing and a pleasing sourness to it. Taste and smell fades rather quickly in the glass...

I got my first Hoegaarden in a make your own six pack deal. When I got home and took a sip I fell in love. It is a sweet tasting beer with taste that reminds me of Juicy Fruit gum. It has since become one of my favorite beers.
