Aroma of yeast, citrus, and old fashioned linoleum adhesive (just a hint). Or maybe it’s just more yeast. Hazy light gold color with a large white head that went away, leaving bits of lace. Starts with strong citrus oil, and coriander. Suggestions of banana. Something of clove came next. Medium to full mouthfeel. The long finish is light clove mouthcoat and a little bitter, very little. Good ale. Clean and refreshing.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2003 Bottle: Cloudy pale yellow colour. Has a aroma of citrus and yeast. Flavour is citrus, banana and some notes of coriander. First time I tried this 3-4 years ago, i hated it. This time I find it quite tasty and refreshing. Nice summer beer.

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2011 Bottle... It’s pale, but then again, it’s a wit; Albino beer. Is it good? For the style, I guess. Mostly water and fizz though. ’Nuff said.

Draught at Vlissinghe, Brugge. Plenty of flavour still from the trendsetting Whitbeer. The corianer, citrus is a little overwhelming for m taste but nevertheless a decent afternoon sampler

(bottle) Hazy yellow colour with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of orange peel. Initially sparkling, high carbonated malty, yeasty taste with a smooth fruity aftertaste with some coriander spice and honey notes. Refreshing.

Draft. Poured a Milky amber with a medium white head that lasted. Aroma was a sweet with a citrus tone. Flavor was refreshing and light with a short finish. Drinkable as a brew lemonade.

Very pale and hazy; firm medium white head; fruity, very aromatic nose (citrus, orange, coriander); fizzy, sparkling, refreshing; very smooth; fruity and a bit sourish aftertaste. A summer-wine........

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2005 a mes rate: ok we have all tried this one. it was what got me started and still holds a special place in my heart. i am not going to waste time talking about citrus and vanilla as you have all heard that before too. not what it was when i first tried it some years ago now. i am not going for all this frosted glass, slice of lime and herbs crap either. smacks a bit of interbrew these days but still hits the spot and if the pumps are looked after well still a good beer garden scoop for a sunny day
