3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A wonderful white. Another example that even though you’re ’big’ doesn’t mean your beer sucks. A powerful fruity aroma with a very nice (white), though fast dissappearing head. The taste is not quite powerful enough, but has a banana flavour and a softness that even few wheat beers are blessed with.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
(bottle, Bilka Odense)
A very good white , the alcohol did not steal the picture, and the taste is light, but with substance anyway. Very refreshing, probably one of the very best of its kind (white ) that i have tasted so far.
In one word : refreshing.
floral, citrus, herbs, very faint hint of something not totally dissimilar to banana, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness,

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Vlissinghe, Brugge. Plenty of flavour still from the trendsetting Whitbeer. The corianer, citrus is a little overwhelming for m taste but nevertheless a decent afternoon sampler

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
250 mL bottle from Switzerland. Really hazy pale yellow Wit with thick creamy lacing white head. Nice lemon and light spices in aroma. Lemon comes out too in mouth, with fresh wheat and coriander notes. This is so classic! I like the 250 mL format. a good dieter’s portion...hehehe

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Strong aroma of honey, yeast, banana an d sweet oranges. Sweet, fruity and spicey taste. Slightly bitter and yeasty finish. Still a good beer, but not as good as 15-20 years ago, when teh brewery was still small and was owned by Celis. In those days the beer was only available irregularly in the Locus Publicus pub in Delft. At its peak, the beer was magic. When Interbrew took over, the beer got a more constant quality. But on the whole the quality diminished slightly, i’m afraid.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JAN 27, 2010 330ml bottle (Mallaskukko, Turku)
Cloudy wheaty yellow. Characteristic blanche aroma - wheat, citrus, coriander. Ditto taste. First taste is delicious, but the lack of details makes it become bland over time. Was much better a few decades back, I’m sure.
Rerate: Bottle. 2010 - took off 1 taste and 2 overall, as it was bland right from the start.
