Lemon-colored with a foamy white head. Has a lemon aroma and a hint of a lemon flavor mixed with the sweet wheat taste.

Bottle from supermarket.
Lemon juice colored, moderate hazy body, with a big, frothy, white head, that dissipates quickly.
Aroma of wheat, citrus, orange, spices, esters.
Taste with about the same aromas and some more banana.
Mouthfeel is light, slick, with a medium carbonation and it finishes spicy, slightly dry and fruity.

A refreshing, light, but not thin, classic example of a Wit. Nicely balanced and very easy to drink. Enjoyable!

My first Hoegaarden in 6 years! A cloudy yellow appearance with no head but a pleasant aroma of lemon, orange, wheat and coriander. Taste is dry and fragrant and nicely complex. Pleased I gave this another go.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2014 Pale, cloudy yellow colour, with a white head. I definitely got the orange on the nose, the coriander not so much. Furthermore an aroma of lime and ginger. Refreshing taste of... what? I’m not sure. Maybe lime again. For sure it’s slightly sour and neither bitter nor sweet, nor bitter-sweet either. Slightly... tasteless probably describes it best. What struck me about this beer was its very watery palate. Not really sure what all the fuss is about, although it is easily drinkable and nice enough for relaxing on a hot summer day, I suppose.

12 oz bottle. A hazy straw color, no head to speak of. The color of lemon juice. Aroma is lemon, orange, sugar, and spices. Sweet and sour citrus, coriander, cloves, and hay. A little carbonation, clean finish.

330ml bottle served in a pint jug. A: Pours a cloudy yellow to white color with a nice white creamy head which does not disappears totally and leaves many lacings in the glass S: Smell is a must! Point of strength. Complex. Very spicy. Coriander, citrus orange zest, vanilla, yeasts (ohhh yeah, damn good Belgium yeasts!), sweet grains, fruity esters and flowery hops T: Complex as the nose. Very spicy beer. Notes of coriander (and perhaps some cinnamon), orange zest, vanilla, yeasts, fruity esters and sweet grains. Flowery hops in the end. Rich combination, the result is a delicious and completely refreshing beer M: Medium and creamy body and medium carbonation. Perfect and balanced O: Classic Belgium Witbier. The spicy and citrus smell and palate makes it a delicious and refreshing option for hot summer days... [ BA Review @ 9/3/2010 ]

Witbier classic from Belgium, light pineapple and peach coloured with thick white foam. Smells summerly of yeasts, coriander and lemon; tastes of wheat beer (obviously), banana, some pineapple and coriander.

Very smooth and has a lot of flavour for one of the biggest names in the style. Best enjoyed in the vessel that North Americans refer to as the big ho.
