pale hazy yellow colour, slightly sour, spices, refreshing in summer but too watery for me,

12oz on tap poured clear yellow with frothy white head. Aroma of wheat and little bread cut by slight citrus. Flavor is a watered down wheat with a bit of peppery orange peel. Body was weak and watery and all flavor seemed muted.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2012 (ON TAP) I was at the Thirsty Lion in Portland, OR. This was a very weak beer. Just a notch or two under the average Wit. There is a watery taste to this beer with a light flavor of coriander

330ml bottle poured into frosted glass. Loosely foaming head quickly expands but dissipates in minutes. Only the thinnest of lace! Colour is very murky yellow (Lovibond 2) - hate to say it, but reminds me of a urine sample. At least a pleasant odour of oranges and flowery hand soap wafts up. Tastes slightly sweet but turns pungently acidic soon after swallowed. Also, coats the tongue and mouth with a chalky finish. Carbonation is very low. Very disappointing after seeing such good reviews here on it.

Pour something like cat piss, with a big foamy head. Aroma is of bready yeast, some weird fruit and soy. Taste is quite sweet, with a lots of bitter tones. Watery body, with a lot of lively carb.

Good Belgian beer, but a little too sweet for my taste. I would rather have a Boulevard.

Had on tap..little foam...lemoncello color...cloudy, pretty..very faint cloves...cloves on the tongue, and more cloves...expected more of this wheat...well disguised %, a nice light wheat

Bottle, from Duvel tulip, at room temp. Best before end of 05/05/08. Cloudy pale yellow body (almost white, go figure), fading bubbly white head, zero lacing. Aroma is very yeasty and lemony. Light body; thin texture. Carbonation is a bit sharp, but not unnaturally so. Sweet flavor; tangy finish. It reminds me of something -- both in appearance and aroma -- that I’m too embarrassed to write. (I’m not qualified to compare the flavor, but I know many women who are. OK no more hints.) I’d say it was overrated, but I am admittedly biased against the style.

This beer smells like it tastes, like way over-citrused and over-spiced. This is one witbier I’ll make a point to avoid.

12 oz bottles. I presume that this beer does not always travel well. I have found it true with some beers--the farther from the brewery the more odd off-flavors are likely to be present. My samples were sweet and syrupy with overtones of cirtus. Color was cloudy yellow. Mouthfeel was heavy and ponderous. Finish was uneven with chemicals (benzene?) lingering.
