I actually had the misfortune of drinking a pitcher of this with a friend one night as it came highly recommended. It was all I could do to get through the pitcher. Citrusy and cloudy easy to drink but it just did not get along with my palate.

I found this beer to be rather weak. Light golden color with a stark white head. Light citris aroma. Flavor was very subdued but flowery just the same. Nothing I would look for again.

Iīm not a fan of the Belgian White style so my rating canīt be very high. Too sour compared to the German Wheatbeers.

Hands down the most bland wheat beer I have had. Definately NOT the world classic everyone thinks it is. The massive carbonation looks amazing though.

A very good wheat beer...itís got an interesting sour taste to it...but itís good overall and goes down smooth. Great example of a Belgian beer.

For Ratebeers' sake - normally I wouldn't touch this stuff with a nine-foot long pole... Well-known hazy-yellow-with-the-greenish shine. Not huge, but persistent lacey white head. The inevitable coriandre-cum-orangepeel... Perfumed, like a fragrance for a fourteen-year old fan of the Spice girls. Surprisingly bitter for a fleeting moment at first. Then it falls flat. Less spices in the taste, not much citrus , which was the strenght of the original Celis Hoegaarden. Warming up, the coriandre gets through more and more. Light bodied, empty palate; no new aftertaste, just a bit more orange. Whyever this beer became a world classic, I'll never understand. Unless because it's even blander than the usual Pilsener?

Nice yellow cloudy color with a nice white head. Taste is citrus and spices. Overall a decent wit.
