UPDATED: SEP 10, 2007 It appeared a very corn-colored cloudy, like a lemon jellybean, and didn’t look very appetizing at all. The white head looked like spa foam. It was sweet and fruity on the nose, with some citrus sours like weak lemonade. Clean, crisp, and way too carbonated, the beer had the consistency and some of the flavor of champagne (thin, foamy, watery). It also appeared to have some melon-y notes. Overall, it seemed to me like the Belgian version of Miller Genuine Draft. Edit: This beer has a way of growing on you. Although it has too much carbonation for a proper ale, it is nicely spiced and appropriately sweet for a wit.

Pours a cloudy, light golden color with a white head. Aroma is of lemon, coriander, yeast, and some bubblegum. Flavor is pretty much the same, a pretty standard witbier.

House of Brews: aaaahhhh Witbier! Love this during the summer! And while this beer is a good representation of the style, it’s certainly not the best... The color and head is everythng you’d come to expect from this style: light yellow, white head, lingering, decent lacing. Aroma is of bitter citrus, taste reveals the same... a bit watery, a bit more on the bitter side as well. Bad hangover!!!

Ujdzie jak na "wita". Trochę tu brakuje aromatu. W smaku jest ok. Kormorana Witbier duuużo lepszy.

This beer is not just ’called’ white beer it literally is a WHITE beer. It pours a slightly off white color and has white head with a very short retention. Quite heavy lacing. Smell: Very potent! Yeast, Lemon, citrus rinds and wheat fill your nose with lots of strong pleasant aromas. Taste: The taste is similar to the smell. It is very active. There is a significant spicy hop character creating the flavor of cloves lemon peels and pepper. It is not overly bitey though, because the cool watery center carries a light yeasty sweet whit bread character through your mouth washing the tart citrus away as quickly as it developed. Mildly interesting but overall average for the style. Mouthfeel: Something about the mouthfeel creates a strange stall for me. This beer is somewhat smooth but just before swallowing it stalls for a moment. Basically it does not slide down easily. I am not sure if it is the peppery character of the beer or the hops but it tickles my throat causing me to need to think about swallowing it. Strange. Drinkability: This beer feels cool and refreshing in the mouth but did not seem to finish smoothly. It may have just been me today so I will try it again. For now I will say it is a fine Witbier and suitable for a hot day. Hope this is helpful. Cheers!

Pours a hazy yellow hue with thin, very white head. Pretty beer. Sweet aroma, some banana and yeast coming through. Interesting taste. Sweet up front with a slightly bitter finish. Some fruit and yeast coming through. Super refreshing, not bad.
