One of my favorite beers. Goes down easy, never disappoints. Forget the lemon and orange slices, drink up!

0,33 l bottle. A truly excellent beer - light yellow, nice white head. A delicious complex taste made of lemon, orange and floral aromas. Spicy flavor and a dry, bitter aftertaste.

Poured a beautiful frothy head on top of an odd cloudy white beer. Strong yeast smell and an outstanding wheat beer flavor. I am very impressed.

Pours hazy white. Smells of banana and yeast and tastes of it too. Great mouthfeel. A great white.

Very refreshing, delicious flavor without being too overwhelming in the coriander/orange peel flavors. Very light yellow color (almost looks white).

This beer is my Bud/Miller When I go out with friends, The place must have this on tap or bottle. The pour is very nice and clean. Nice foam head. The smell is of pure wheat and citrus. As you take in the beer, you get a slight hint of orange, lemon, lemon grass, and spice. All of these flavors are well hidden among a very clean and refreshing wheat base. Super nice drinking and very pleasing refreshment.

I’ll just start by saying that I am biased in favor of this beer. I love Hoegaarden. It is the witbier by which I judge all others. With that in mind, my review follows. It is a light hazy golden yellow color. Hazy enough to nearly be opaque. It reminds me of a wheat field on a nice summer day. It’s minimal head doesn’t stay around long, at all. Smells of spicy citrus notes. Little yeasty bread-like notes in there, too. Not much else, just keep it simple. Taste is very good, indeed. The not quite sweet citrus flavors are so finely balanced by the spiciness of the coriander that this is harmony in a glass. Light yeast notes follow along bringing a delicate banana flavor to round out the end. Very good creamy mouthfeel, here. This wouldn’t work without the proper carbonation level and fortunately, this has it. For me, this is a great session beer. Nice and easy to drink with a moderate enough ABV level. It would score a 5.0 for this except that it runs about $10 a 6-pack, so you have to kind of monitor your intake, for financial reasons. (Someday, when I win the lottery, I’ll bathe in this stuff.) Mmmmm....tasty!

Beautiful pour: a kind of yellow with a very little amount green tint to it. A lot of white foam every time I’ve had it. Aroma of some citrus... in fact, a lot of citrus. Taste, sweet but not overbearingly so. A touch of bitterness counters the sweetness... the citrus fruit notes are of the fruit’s core: not much rind-like bitter flavoring here. The orange peel the label mentions makes itself known, however. The aftertaste is like that of bubblegum, minus the time you spent chewing it "after the flavor is gone." Very refreshing. At only about 5 percent alcohol, I can see myself probably picking it up during the summer.
