Nice white head and lacing. Good coriander aroma. on the first sniff. Yeast and spice are delicate and well balanced. Very refreshing with a very nice creamy mouthfeel, and it sits nice and heavy in your stomach like the meal that I skipped to afford this beer. It’s pretty expensive for a low abv, but a very worthwhile true belgian experience.

Sep 6, 2008 I’d suggest its the top wheat beer around. A great textured and wheat flavoured beer this one, the white cream on top is nice, followed by some fruits and wheat and yeast. Probably top of its Wheat class!

Sep 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours light with a good bubbly head. Aroma has citrus and hops.More carbonation than I usually like on the light palate, but the flavor is fun and interesting. Hints of spice, citrus, grain, and strong notes of wheat and yeast. Everything is nice and subtle but there’s a lot there. Finishes quickly. It’s refreshing and relaxing. Perfect for a party.

Like in the 1988 John Candy movie "The Great Outdoors" when the wild bear destroys the cabin and tries to kill John Candy .The wife proclaims "ive not seen rain like this in years". That is exactly the scene that went through my mind as I skipped through a monson .
Az I jogged through a blizard ,I was vizualising a 12 pack of Hoegaarden . You know like one of those chliches "ohh shit it tastes good dude" vibez.
Allways the wheaty ,refreshing starw liquid that is Hoegaarden.

Sep 4, 2008 pouca espuma e nada diferente em termos de colarinho, apresenta corpo turvo e coloração amarela médio, com partículas grandes e grossas em seu corpo. No tocante ao aroma, apresenta fortíssima presença de lúpulo, fungos, leite azedo e ainda aromas mais ‘diferentes’, como bratwurst e ricota. Apresenta ainda, no corpo e paladar, traços de água com gás e uma certa adstringência de água tônica. Seu sabor é azedo, tanto no início quanto no final do gole, com exceção do azedume acético derradeiro. Seu corpo é leve e aguado; no final, torna-se adstringente.
