WesKBob (167), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA Apr 18, 2008 Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a thin, foamy head. Nice floral, citrusy aroma. Very smooth, slightly creamy mouthfeel with just the right carbonation. Nice yeast and citrus flavors. Crisp, clean finish, almost like a hefeweizen. A very nice wheat beer.
changeup45 (580), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 12, 2008 Sampled on tap at Epcot during their food, wine, and beer festival. This is pretty good and certainly got the job done on a hot day, like it was. Hazy yellow color with a thick creamy white head. The taste is mostly dominated by bananas and lemons with maybe a light spice in there as well. Light-bodied, refreshing, this is defnitely an easy going beer. joeymacaroni (141), West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 11, 2008 pours cloudy straw-yellow with a thick white head. nose heavy with banana, clove, orangepeel, cardamom and (maybe?) mint. taste is heavy yellow fruit: orange, citrus, lemon, banana, pineapple. Spicy. Finish is clean with subtle spice and wheat. Ober (403), Best, Netherlands Oct 11, 2008 A hazy pale yellow colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma of yeast, fruits and spices. The taste of fruits like orange with citrus some coriander, malts. The aftertaste is dry and sweet. KornDogg (28), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 10, 2008 Bottle... This was the beer that really got me interested in belgian beers a few years back... If you’ve never had a nice belgian white you will def be able to taste the hint of orange and a nice sour bite... now that I have tried so many whites this one seems a bit plain, but always will have a special place in my heart... TheJollyOne (7), Kofu, Japan does not count Oct 10, 2008 Poured a frothy off white head that diminished slowly. Beautiful yellow-hinting-at-brown body with tiny particles suspended within the cloudy depths. It just asks to be consumed!Smells of citrus, lemon, and a hint of vinalla. Amazing flavour that starts sweet at the tip of the tounge, offering some orange peel tang as you finish. Palate is heavy for a white, but creamy with a lively zest. A pleasure to drink! Mainstream done right.
