3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A uniquely satisfying beer. Immediate hints of spice and cloves. Slight citrus flavor that is both refreshing and substantial. Crisp finish with a sweet aftertaste. A beer than needs to be tried multiple times to truly appreciate.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The beer has a somewhat pleasant smell that is dominated by spices. It is a light in color, pale yellow. The head pours large and gradually disappears. With the taste there is a pleasant combination of orange with spices.

Iím biased, this is my favorite beer. The aroma and taste are 2nd to none. It may be fruity for some, but it is a great light beer.

Normally I do the needful and give carfull consideration of my favourite area of world for beer to come from that of Belgian area.... I drink the Hoegaarden with expectation for it to be another beer to enjoy with my louis Prima LP record and time spent with best girl. That is when the expectation is not met with the needful. I like for special beer to have some sort of flavor but this is not so. it is like when you are with a woman of which you expect to have glorious butt cheeks, you have dinner perhaps - now understand all you have done is seen her but not up to the close area....and she is of ethnicity that has reputation for glorious butt cheeks - like say brasil or africa or even spain in europe possibly italian when young and not hairy and extra large yet in life...so as expected, with belgian beer - wheat beer, i expect glory and flavor like divine recipe of chimay or even duvel but what happen is that it is all not true!!!! analogy is woman who you expect to have beautiful glorious butt cheeks that shimer with beauty in the moonlite AND DONT - is much like beer expecting to have strent and flavor but do not!!! like putting on Louis Prima record expecting glorious voice but hear Nicklebacks or Ke$$A or some other inferior object of noise. I do not like this beer.

Wheat beer with almost no aroma. Easy to drink light tasting beer with base notes of wheat and some faint banana flavor.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hadnít had this in over a decade, picked it up on election night (spoiler alert:we won!) at the Oak Bay Hotel as they only sell macros... Pours pale yellow, extremely hazy, white lasting head. Compared to typical wits itís a bit thinner, medium carbonation, heaps of coriander, yeast giving very dry notes. Better than most "craft" wits; then again itís a tough style to win me over.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
One of the first "different" beers I got into, and look at me now! A good white beer with a very floral/sweet flavour. Pours a pale yellow colour--very light on the palate and in taste. Certainly not going to knock your socks off, but the citrus and floral flavours are nice enough.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty good for what is developing as the leader in the field for this style. Pale and cloudy golden in color with spare head, slight citrusy hints on top of wheat characteristics. Overall light on the palate and in mouthfeel, but the norm for the style.

This is one of my favorites so far. I am really a wheat beer guy but I would buy this one as well

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is a nice mix of coriander and orange peel. Flavor is more of the same. I get some spiciness from the coriander as well as some nice juicy orange notes, as well as a good dose of wheat. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Just about the perfect witbier.
