A excellent white wheat beer, usually served a orange slice. I always drink this without the orange slice. Very drinkable.

Lovely wheat beer, great taste. Bought in either Tesco or Lidl in Mitchelstown in 330ml bottle. Best served in a glass from the freezer and the beer well chilled.

Ochutnal som ho dobre vychladené, z fľašky. Pekná pena, príjemná vôňa, zaujímavá chuť. Jemné ovocné tóny, ideálne letné osvieženie, kto má rád pšeničné pivá, ten si na tomto belgickom kúsku pochutná

Amarelo palha, turva, boa formaçăo e estabilidade de espuma. Aroma bem pronunciado de laranja, coentro, capim limăo, lima. Sabor adocicado bem agradável. Corpo médio-baixo. Retrogosto doce.

Have I not rated this yet? Seriously? Ok then. On tap at the Cutter Inn, Ely. Cloudy yellow with a wispy white head. Vanilla sugar, clove and lemon peel on the aroma. Taste is sweet, but the sweetness is clipped by a mid-sip citrussy tartness. Finish is far too short, and the body is surprisingly light. Otherwise a stunning beer. There are better Witbiers available but the most ubiquitous off that style is still worth a go.

Flaska systembolaget. Ljust ljusgul disig vätska. Fluffigt vitt skum.

Poured from a 12 oz into a tumbler in late 2013. A: Yellow/white with no head. See through. S: Banana, citrus, chemicals. T: Follows the nose. M: Crisp. Very light in the mouth. O: This was one that I had wanted to try as I was making my way through other wits. The story and tradition of the beer was appealing too, so I gave it a shot. The reviews that I read at the time described a beer that was different from what I had. It was ruined by a terrible chemical flavor. I didn’t trust my palate, so I tried to find other mentions of the chemical taste. Someone (I can’t find who now, unfortunately) mentioned that the beer had changed since the AB InBev takeover. That launched my search into the conglomerate and opened my eyes quite a bit about macro brewers.
