Bottle, 5%. Hazy amber colour. The flavour has some cream, candylike notes. Must be candy notes from the hops. Not sweet as such. Strange, but OK.

Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s dark amber and the head is OK. The aroma is very malty with notes of apple, dust and grain. The flavour has sweetness, a light sourness, notes of candy sugar, grain, citrus and the mouthfeel is kind of hard.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6730) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 2, 2005
Clear orange-red to amber; virtually no head. Cookies nose, sweet, ambrée malt and some alcohol. Banana ester as well, but faint. Sweet, perfumed taste, toilet-soap like, maybe some coriander, ending dull-sweet. Slick, oily but not heavy. Well. It’s OK, but where’s the drive a microbrew ought to have?
