COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A topfermented Dubbel. Made from lagermalts, caramel malts, chocolate malts, water, hops and yeast. A mild beer with the sweet taste of caramel. Bottle conditioned. Brewed at De Leckere for Bierbrouwerij Hoeksche Waard at Oud-Beijerland (NL).

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, bready malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, bread, yeast, dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140217]

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Clear brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity, yeasty and a bit oxidized. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 170214

I’m not as enthousiastic as jbrus, but it is a decent beer. Caramelaroma with some citrus. Medium bodied. Yeasty, caramel, just a bit citric. Hints of oak. Sweetish, hoppy aftertaste.
