Bottle. Medium brown, cloudy. Large off-white lingering head. Excellent, layered aroma: banana, clove, bubblegum yeast. Medium to full bodied. Robust flavor; yeast, spice, intense wheat. Malty notes of butter and bread. Almost reminiscent of a belgian brewed beer. Smooth and exceptional from start to finish.

500 ml bottle in Germany. Pours a drak brown with a low tan head. Aroma is smoked malt and overripe bananas. Taste is Brown sugar malt, light banana and clove flavors. Palate ends a bit thin and short with some lasting burnt malt at the end but totally in a non-offensive way.

Aroma is sweet, banana ester, honeyed bread, pastry. Body is smooth, lightly foamy, light carbonation. Taste is chewed up bread, banana, dark honey, sugary. Koelschtrinker (15757) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 21, 2011
8/11/12/11/11/11
