clear blond with a white head. very malty grainy nose, alcohol and some yeast falling through, straight forward. malty taste, nothing new or earth shocking, but in fact, pretty balanced and even nice. short finish with a sweet body. ok belgian tripel, beats the average.and, very drinkable...

Bottle at home . Pours rather unclear blonde . Good white head . Smell is not intense. Some maltyness .
Taste is typically tripel . Dry ( from the sugar , yet not sweet ) , bitter, very sharp maltyness . Overcarbonated ( sigh ) , Dry and tad sweet finish . OK , but nothing else than 90 % of the tripels I’ve tasted before ...

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2014 Tasted as Toria Tripel in 2009 and as Toria Tripel US in 2010, the latter having been intended for export to the States in very limited quantities; according to Ratebeer both are the same thing, but I thought the US version was hoppier (I’ll verify with the brewer if this is true). Anyway, I’ll do this rating about that US version since I tasted it more recently than the regular. The notes I made at the time, at the Nationale Bierhappening of Zottegem, go as follows: off-white, sticky head, ochre blonde colour with somewhat greenish hue, hazy. Aroma of green apple and grapefruit, yoghurt, pepper, cider and quite some oily, grassy and citrussy hoppiness. Soft fruity taste (apple), mellow malt sweet background, spicy hoppiness coming up quickly and spreading into the back of the mouth and throat, citrussy and peppery and long lasting.

Bottle 0.25l taste at Bles Bier Happening 2014 Zottegem Belgium.Pour it yellow color with small white head.On the nose candy.Aroma of apple, cinnamon, citrus and little bit hops.Taste is sweet with perfect carbonation.I like it very much.

Pours with a hazy orange/gold hue. Thin white head. Aroma of citrus and candy sugar. Flavors of light brown sugar and almonds. Plenty of hop bitterness in the finish. Not at all what one expects in a tripel, but very drinkable.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a white fizzy head. Aroma is dry pils malts with some alcohol and butter. Flavor is pineapple fruityness with some bone dry malt and light hoppyness. I would not call this a triple and I think it’s listed here correctly. It’s an ok Belgian ale.

In bottle at the Cafe Red Rose. Pours a golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of candy sugar, caramel, yeast and alcohol. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Nice.

Light tan body with ring of head. Light wheat fields and a touch of apple in the nose. Thinnish body, light grassiness, flat. Rather boring. The one nice attribute is that the alcohol is well masked. However, I wish this would have a bit more boldness in the malt body and yeast.
