On tap at Jacs. Hazy golden yellow-tan. Big steady white head. Significantly hoppier and drier than most Tripels, still has a sweet sugary backbone though. Maybe not as cloying as some examples. Very drinkable, well done.

330ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a huge frothy white head with lots of lacing. Aroma is light toasted malt and yeast. Taste is bitter hops with some spices with some underlying malty sweetness. Heavy body and loads of carbonation make this a great sipping beer to enjoy on a cool evening.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Hazy golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, peaches, coriander, pineapple and spicy hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of citrus, dried apricots and a spicy, earthy bitterness in a fairly harsh finish. More than medium body, slightly sweetish. Nice and tasty.

Pours pale and hazy straw with a thick white head. Aroma is mild but pleasant, with Belgian yeast, light pils malt, and a hint of apricot. Flavor is at once malty and light, with medium bitterness and minimal sweetness. Grassy and very dry, with a lingering bitterness and some booze on the finish. This is a somewhat unique tasting Belgian tripel, but a bit one-dimensionally light and dry.

Clear golden color/ off white sheen. Spicy sweet light fruit, candi sugar, pils malt aromas. Frothy light mouthfeel. Dusty pils malt, sweet light pit fruit, peppery flavors, light n’ easy finish--good

330. A likable little tripel with no particular ambitions. Pours a bright hazy gold with the usual fizzy platinum blond head. Big cream and green apple nose, showing way more coriander than anybody asked for. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Spicy, apple-y, creamy mid-palate. Spicy finish. Could drink these for a while without paying much attention, but the spicy phenols are a bit of a shock when you first lift the glass.

Pale dirty golden pour from draft at ginger man. Very fruity nose. Taste is actually somewhat grape-ish which is odd to me. Ehhhh.
