Bottle: Poured a golden yellow with ghost like shapes created from the huge white carbonated head. The aroma is a hoppy metallic. The taste is sweet spices and it changes to a very hoppy finish.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow to golden color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste some malts, European hops, a hint of yeast, lightly bitter. Typical Belgian blond. Nothing wrong with it, nothing really interesting either. Decent beer.

Tasted in the original Alvinne version when it was just launched onto the market, in 2008. Creamy, off-white head over a warm ’old gold’ coloured beer; soft malty aroma, peach, pineapple, citrus peel, yeasty and spicy touches; fruity onset, fresh sparkles, refreshing, smooth with sourish accent and mild bitterish finish. Decent example of the ’blond’ Belgian ale style.

11.2oz bottle in a tulip. Pours murky golden/brown with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some pale and caramel malts, and some hints of light fruits and hints of hops. Flavor the same with a decent blend. Average texture. A decent Belgian ale.

2/I/14 - 33cl bottle from Zottegems Bierfestival @ home - BB: VIII/2015 (2014-10)

Clear blond beer, creamy irregular head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of orange peel, prety spicy, honey, sugary, some coriander, bit dusty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coriander, lots of orange peel, some citrus, very spicy, nice bitterness. Aftertaste: pretty hoppy, grassy, fruity notes, little sweet, honey, orange peel. Well done, I say. Don’t know if it was this batch in particular, but I really liked this beer.

The bottle was sent to me by Strykzone in a trade Pours cloudy gold with a good robust foamy white head and good lacing rings. Nose of fruit and yeast with spices. Medium in body with a lively and pleasant mouthfeel. The flavor is full of ripe fruit and the finish is slightly sour. Very tasty and nice to drink..
