Modeste 15. Pours unclear blonde, big white head. Smell is bit boozy, taste is dry, bit sweet. Booze, white wine ( isn’t grappa related to wine or is this coincidence ? ) sharp, boozy end.

Nice cloudy amber with a good head but it disappears quickly. Grappa taste dominates too much of the taste. Otherwise citrus fruit and lemon peel, malt, quite some alcohol and wood. Long grappa finish, quite bitter. Interesting but too one sided

As "Barrel Aged Blond Grappa", Belgian Strong Ale, 12% ABV.
Cloudy orange color, small white head. Acidic, brett, barrel/wood scent. Acidic, green berries, wood taste. Acidic aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

[7377-20150710] Bottle. Mild fruity toast aroma. Hazy, amber brown body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Mild fruity and wood notes in the flavour with a tangy dry finish. Medium body. Odd but not in a bad way, just not really for me. Definitely interesting to try. (7/3/6/3/13) 3.2

[Huge 2L bottle shared with friends] Pours a dark amber with an average size frothy lasting off-white head. Aroma and flavour are tart, fruity and lightly woody along with some grappa. Big, dry, bitter finish. Alcohol there but fairly well hidden. Average bodied. Not what I expected, in a good way, it’s quite good.

2015-07-10. Hazy dark amber body with a small beige head. Aroma is a bit odd, with sort of funky feet like notes at first! It improves as it warms. Grappa and a not quite fruit like character to it. Interesting. Flavour is pretty interesting. It is much more dry than expected, light not quite wood like notes. Subtle fruit undertones. Dry finish lingers. 7+ Average bodied palate, soft effervescent carbonation. 3+ Very interesting. Bottle, several years old, shared by Ralph.

On tap at proletariat. Pours a mostly clear ruby with a thin white head. Wood on the nose, sweet fruit prune and a touch of acid. Medium bodied, tangy and fruity, nice dry wood into tangy fruit. Sweet wood and malt into the finish.
