bottle 37.5cl @STOOM brewpub, tht 12/17 Appearance is maple syrup/sherry-ish. No head, no lacing, no carbo. Syrup! Aroma has pickles, some cloves, vinegar, appelstroop, cat food, persian carpet. Nice complexity, weird balance, still enjoyable. Don’t ask me why. Loads of sherry/applewine hints. Taste is more apples, sherry, cherries. Some raisins, some cola-herbalness, old cheese, barn, cellar. Mouthfeel is really thick and syrup with a soft sour finish. Vinegary port stuff. Pretty sweet. Loads of cheesy funk.

Almost headless. Huge aroma. What is that... Sour cherries? Red wine vinegar? Jammy, blueberries, funk, alcohol. Lots here. Heavy stuff, very fulfilling. (Corked bottle from the brewery)

37.5cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. No head. Completely flat. Cloudy amber pour. A little sour. Maybe infected?

Bottle shared. Pours very hazy orange with no head. Aroma of Christmas pudding, raisins, infection, toffee and medicinal nastiness. Flavour is moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with near flat carbonation. Crap.

Small sample at camping ratebeer ’14. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma has some apples, tartness, bit like a geuze. Taste is soft sour with some wood. Medium body and carbo. Decent.

Bottle @ home. Clear amber colour with no head. Smells tomato soup mustard, curry, lays bolgonese, sourish. Tastes like spicy chicken crisps from the lidl, slightly sourish, overal pretty food-like, ketchup, rye. Bizarre but at the same time kinda nice. Really weird stuff. Medium body, soft carbo.

From my backlogg: RBESG 2014 in London, grand tasting. Hazy golden beer with an offwhite head. Fruity vinous caramel fruity aroma. Fruity vinous caramell fruity sourish vinegar flavour.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear light golden with no head. Very sweet aroma, sugary and syrupy, notes of apricot and liqueur. Quite sweet flavor, syrupy, boozy but doesn’t feel as 12% abv, notes of apple and tart, kind of apricot liqueur, funky. Soft carbonation, medium-bodied.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear golden with a white head. Sourish aroma with fruits, wine, candy, wood, and a bit of spiciness. Sourish and slightly sweetish flavor, fruity, vinous, with wood, mild spiciness, and an alcoholic note in a dry finish. Medium-bodied. Nice stuff, quite easy-drinking for 12%.
