3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
6/V/15 - 33cl bottle from Ambarosa (Aalst) @ home - BB: 12/VI/16, lot: L1T1 (2015-602) Thanks to my nephew for getting me this bottle!
Clear orange beer, creamy white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: spicy touch, banana, some citrus, almonds. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: herbal, pretty bitter, sweet malts, spicy touch. Aftertaste: rather bitter, some banana, sweet and sugary finish, bit spicy, is it ginger? Nice and balanced beer, liked it a lot!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2006 Slightly hazy orange-tinted golden colour; very thick, just yellow coloured head. Dry, candy sugar, biscuit malt, spicey nose; ending in a sweet vanilla aroma. Dry, alcoholic, slightly spicey taste, like laurel and vanilla; quite alcoholic stamp all over the beer. A bit dusty, even sandy MF, and alcoholburn. Not bad; sample being quite fresh it’s probably too alcohol-oriented. Proef, obviously.
