Draft. Clear yellow with a thin head. Aroma is bready with a twist of lemon. Flavor is a nice balance of sweet malts with just a hint of butter and honey. Crisp and toasty but just a bit on the sweet side.

Jul 23, 2008 Bottle: Poured a golden clear color with a medium lacing white head. Aroma is crisp and clean to the nose. Taste is fresh smooth very clean. Lived up to everything I had heard about HB!

Jul 21, 2008 on nose this beer display s the bisciuty, doughy, wet bread dough quality i like in german beers. on palate malts start out at beginning and gives way to nice very clean hop finish that is very long. this is how beer is supposed to taste imho. would like like to drink this beer out of maskrugs & smash anyone in face with one, if the talks-down to the hofbrau

Jul 17, 2008 poured a clear golden with a big white head. aroma at 1st got some skunk but that went away in a few seconds, malts and some hops. flavor, found the skunk than some sweetness very little malts some bitterness. this was a decent beer to have on a hot (92) day but when it warmed the skunk part got stronger so drink this one very cold

Jul 10, 2008 I am raiding my beer cellar and found another Hofbräu München hiding in the back. From a 500 ml bottle this poured clear and gold, with big fat white head and sticky lacing. Nose of light malts and grassy hops. Clean mouthfeel. Flavor is mild and the beer is easy to drink.

Jul 9, 2008 This clear yellow beer poured with a huge white head that subsided in a couple minutes. There is not much flavor - just a little malt with a slight hop bitterness. However, it is a refreshing drink on a hot summer day.
