obguthr (707), Poquoson, Virginia, USA Mar 4, 2007 Updated: Sep 22, 2007 My favorite beer in the world! It was my first trip to HB Munich while stationed in Bavaria. My buddy knew German and ordered for me, knowing my taste in beer. He was spot on! The beer was served in a Litre stein, and was the same color as Dr. Pepper. The head was a light chocolate brown which matched its aroma. The flavor was perfectly balanced with a smokiness I haven’t tasted since.

Hints of bananna and clove common to the style, more spice than normally scene here and some pretty good carbonation visable and tasted. Pours a light cloudy brown color. Avg to abv average mouth feel. Decent flavor, easy to drink.
