bottle, purchased at the brewery. Clear yellow colour, mid-sized fluffy white head. Hoppy nose. Shy malt flavours with aromatic and bitter hops. Shy hints of cardboard and vegetables. Rather hoppy for a South German Pilsener. A solid Pilsener from a nice brewery.

It’s yellow-golden with a creamy, white head and the aroma has notes of straw, malt and light bread. The flavor has a light sweetness, a good bitterness and notes of straw, malt and flower, it’s full-bodied and has a nice dry and bitter finish.

bottle, as Hofbräu Abensberg Millenium Pils) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a dense medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly strawy malty aroma with a tinge of draff and herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale malt character with subtle notes of cara-malt; sweet-bitter, slightly herbal hoppy finish. Rather average. 04.X.09

Bottle:Clear, pale golden with a very faint greenish sheen, mid-sized fluffy lacy head; faint grainy-hoppy nose; soft MF, medium bodied; pale-malty and delicate hoppy finish. Decent, but very restrained Pils.........
