Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, - MAY 16, 2009
bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Solid and pleasant malty base with lovely hoppy flavours. Bitter-sweet. Smooth carbonation. This strongly reminds me of good Czech 12° lagers. To me it is much more of a Bohemian Pilsener than a German Pilsener. Delicious beer!

It’s hazy yellow.-golden with a creamy, white head and notes of malt, straw and grass. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, grass and the finish is bitter. Not very typical for a pils from south Bavaria.
