The bottle looks a bit complex. Beer in the glass fine turbid, huge head. Starts strong, yeasty, not too dry. Fruity like apricot. Well balanced finish, a bit less yeasty. Good hefeweizen!
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Maria (8585) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 10, 2012
It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of barnyard, yeast and clove. The flavor is sweet with notes of barnyard, yeast, fruit and clove, that continues in the slightly dry finish. Too much barnyard.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2009
(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a fluffy foamy white head. Yeasty, citric fruity and moderately wheaty nose. Slightly sour flavour, only light to medium bodied despite its abv. lively carbonated mouthfeel. Wheat-accented and fruity (citrus, lemon) taste with shy spicy phenols; moderately sour fruity and wheaty finish with delicate phenolic spices. Okay 01.IX.09

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, lively carbonation, bigger off-white head with a little lace; clovey nose, mixed with yeasty and fruity traces; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, very light bodied for a beer of 5.6%; short clovey and yeasty finish. No great pleasure...........
