Tap at Starosloviensky pivovar. Dark brown color with thick light beige head. Roasted malt, fruity syrup in aroma. Taste, sweet malt, caramel roasted notes, hints of coffee.

(bottle) pours a clear ruby-brown colour with a dark tanned head. aroma of dark fruits, roasted malts, light caramel and milk chocolate, with a hint of coffee. flavour is grainy malts with more chocolate, dark fruit and a long, smooth roasted-bitter finish. medium body with soft carbonation. very tasty!

Dark coppery colored with little and thick brown head. Nutty and roasted aroma with sweet aroma, nice aroma indeed. Medium bodied, smooth palate. Flavor is also nice with nuts dominating, aftertaste lasts with decent hops, grains and nuts. Excellent dunkel.

Bamberg Jolly Day 3 26/01/2014. Draught at the brewpub in Freising. Clearish dark brown / red coloured pour with a creamy head. Aroma is nutty caramel, and light mineral, light toast. Flavour is sweet raisin, some banana, mineral. Pretty well balanced. A touch sweet.

Süßlich-malziger Geruch. Das Bier ist relativ CO²-arm. Im ersten Moment wässrig entfaltet das Bier zum Hauptteil hin schnell sein malzig-röstmalziges Aroma. Erst wird es malzig-süßlich, schon fast zu süß, aber im Nachgeschmack kommt eine röstmalzig-trockene Note hinzu, die die Süße wieder etwas abmildert. Auf der Zunge bleibt ein trocken-röstmalzige Note zurück, die auch noch ein paar süßliche Einschläge hat.
--> Ein nettes, bayrisches Dunkel, für meinen Geschmack aber einen Tick zu süß.

Tap at Staroslovien. Aroma lightly soapy. Fruity, raisins, dark fruits. Clear dark brown colour, stable head. Taste is quite OK. Mostly malty, only background bitterness. Fruity. Slightly thin body. Quite easy drinker. Finish is somewhat mild and neutral.
