Thanks to the careful brewing process involved, the bottom-fermented speciality has all the valuable ingredients of regular beer, but none of the alcohol. At Hofbrau, Hamburg. Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. Odd malty aroma, light bread. Light flavor, sweetness. Light bitterness. Watery texture.

Bottled 500ml. -at the bar on top of the Kehlsteinhaus (best known as Eagle’s Nest).
Such a lousy beer for such a nice view. Golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, typical n/a nose. Grainy, slight bready and salty with moderate bitter finish. Drinkable and not so offensive alkoholfrei.

Big offwhite head. Yellow body with carbonation. Light mealy malty apple aroma. Dry watery chalky milky taste with grainy straw notes. Sharpish mouthfeel. Some acidity. Thin-bodied. No off tastes, but too thin and harsh for my taste. (0.5l bottle at Biergarten am Chinesischer Turm, München.)
