COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For drivers, athletes, the figure-conscious and all those at work – Hofbräu Alkoholfrei is the ideal choice. Thanks to the careful brewing process involved, the bottom-fermented speciality has all the valuable ingredients of regular beer, but none of the alcohol. Coming with only 66 kJ or 16 kcal per 100 ml, Hofbräu Alkoholfrei is a modern thirst-quencher that all pleasure-oriented beer lovers are sure to appreciate. Big offwhite head. Yellow body with carbonation. Light mealy malty apple aroma. Dry watery chalky milky taste with grainy straw notes. Sharpish mouthfeel. Some acidity. Thin-bodied. No off tastes, but too thin and harsh for my taste. (0.5l bottle at Biergarten am Chinesischer Turm, München.)

At Hofbrau, Hamburg. Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. Odd malty aroma, light bread. Light flavor, sweetness. Light bitterness. Watery texture.

Bottled 500ml. -at the bar on top of the Kehlsteinhaus (best known as Eagle’s Nest).
Such a lousy beer for such a nice view. Golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, typical n/a nose. Grainy, slight bready and salty with moderate bitter finish. Drinkable and not so offensive alkoholfrei.
