0,5 l bottle. Pours out clear and dark golden. Mid white head. Malt with sourish notes on the nose. Taste is smooth malty, low sweetness, little bit grassy. Crisp. Mid grainy aftertaste with a low bitterness. Nice one, I enjoyed it a lot.

Bottle, 500mL. Home. A clear pale golden beer ; bubbly fountain in the middle of my glass ; big white creamy head ; average retention. Cereal aroma, herbs. Light sweet, light bitter, dry. Light to medium body, thin texture, good carbonation, herbal bitter finish. Overall, OK, pastoral, very drinkable.

Very nice fest-style beer. The style lists this a dortmunder/helles, but it’s probably more accurate to list it as a marzen. The flavors are definitely on the malt side, with a nice balancing of hops. This is a fairly classic version of the style, but maybe just a little light in the body.

(Hofbräu München Festbier) Bottle 500 ml at home, served into a glass tankard, ABV 6.3% Pale golden yellow colour on the body, small and thin white head, with low retention, light lacing left on the glass. Aroma of malts, light grass, straw, a bit sweet. Taste is also sweet and a bit unclean, stale bread, straw. Medium thin body, high carbonation. Mildly dry palate. Nothing special.

Aroma: herbs, malty. Appearance: clear straw color, white head. Taste: medium bitterness (herbal), sulfur (like in German Pils), quite dry and maybe slightly watery, Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Clear profile, looks like slightly stronger version of German Pils.

Clear golden color with good head retention. Sweet bready malts in the smell. Taste is also on the sweeter side for a lager. Hops are present only a bit in the aftertaste. Not bad for a style I don’t really enjoy that much.
