Bottle. Average mass produced German Weizen. Dark yellow colour, medium white head. Light aroma, Light bodied medium taste. Very refreshing. Good buy for it’s price.

Sampled at Hofbrau, Hamburg. Looks good, golden coloured and clear .Has a white head, fully lasting. Aroma is herbal, yeasty and nice. Flavor starts sweet and finish light bitter. Creamy and lively carbonation.

Draught Hofbrau Berlin. Lught golden colour with a medium head. Aroma is very light metallic. Flavour is bubblegum and candy, finish is refreshing

Clear golden with a large white head. Malty aroma with spices and some light notes of banana. The same in the descent taste.

Im Geruch zitronig-grasig und herb-hefig besetzt. Dabei ein wenig streng wirkend.
Antrunk süßlich-zitronig. Mittig eine herbe Hefigkeit mit mehligen Tönen. Abgang apfelig, leicht säuerlich und trocken.

On tap shared begrudgingly with the wife. Slight bananas, malts. Not really interesting, but better than the original.

Nice heavy carbonization. Golden colour, small white head. Quite good beer.

08.05.2004, 0,5l Bottle. Pale yellow and clear.White head. Aroma is a little weak and I think that this have been better if it was’nt filtered. Nice flower-like hoppy flavour.

I’m not a huge fan of this overly carbonated weizen...especially the german hefeweizen. It doesn’t quite mix as well with the fuller body, thick, viscous, and full of banana and clove flavors that are enjoyable. It overpowers those aspects, and brings it to an abrupt finish on the palate. I do like the balance however, as it is well done. Drinkable, but not my speed.
