| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Bottle-The aroma from the pour worry me at first, skunky, but then settled down into a good carmel, malty scent. The pour produce a medium, fuzzy head that die quickly with a solid copper color. The taste had both caramel and malt tastes but a little thin. However, that’s what one should expect for a springtime beer. krysztofar (344), belleville, Illinois, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 20, 2007 Bottle… Crystal clear, amber lager with copper highlights. Malty and breadsy aroma with lots of caramel and toffee. Flavor-wise, it’s a malt bomb that leans way onto the sweet side of balance, but is far from cloying. Medium to heavy sweetness countered with moderate bitterness and a whisper of acidity. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Perfectly-balanced, lightly acidic, caramel finish. I do dig me a malt bomb!
