A Sunday afternoon, playing Dead Space at my buddies house. He breaks out the King Crab legs and some Lumpia and damned if this didn’t go well with not only the food, but the gaming as well. A bit lighter than I expected a Marzen to be, but still enjoyable nonetheless.

The beer pours out a light golden color, a fairly thin looking 1-2 finger thick head and a clear body. Aroma was honey, a touch of hay, a bit of cut grass and some light malt. I’d swear this was a pilsner if I didn’t read the label. Flavor had more honey, some hay, a touch of toffee, with just a nice kick of bitterness at the swallow. Easy to enjoy, and easy to drink.

12 oz bottle from Country Club Liquors. Nose of grassy hops, with some graininess and yeast.Clear gold with a medium white head. Flavor is lightly bitter with a tiny bit of sweetness and bready yeast. Finish is light bitterness. Hoppy enough to be quite enjoyable!

Bottle. Pours a yellow color with a little head that goes quick. Aroma is bread, yeast, lots of malts, and grass. Taste is all of the same. Very watery body. Smooth and very drinkable.

Draft at Mr. Dunderbaks (Tampa, FL). Clear, golden yellow color with a thin white head. Expected a darker color from an Oktoberfest beer. Aroma was sweet and malty. Very smooth and drinkable flavor with subtle hops. Paired nicely with my dinner of pork schnitzel and spatzle.

50cl bottle. It poured a pale yellow colour with a huge white foamy head that settled down fast in the glass. The aroma is very malty, but there’s also notes of grass and yeast. The flavour is also very malty and slightly spicy, hints of wheat. It has a short aftertaste.

Pours golden with rocky white head. Herbaceous zesty aromas, grassy hops as well with an underlying subtle malt. Sweet malty beer with strong hop character. Hops are grassy & straw like. A bit funky. Slight citrus fruit but barely detectable. A bit too much sweet malt.

Pours clear golden with a fluffy white head. Strong grassy aroma with a touch of yeast and malt. Very bitter and malty in flavour, overpowering the herb and orange characters which are just present. Slight alcohol taste on the palate. Tasty, but malt too strong.
