COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Munich Beer Festival, or Oktoberfest, is an event of superlatives - it’s the largest popular festival in the world, staging in the beer metropolis of Munich. Millions of visitors from all over the world flock along every year to enjoy its very special atmosphere. For this occasion, Hofbräu brews a rich, full-bodied beer which goes down ideally with traditional Bavarian cuisine. With its deliciously bitter taste and alcoholic content of 6.3% volume, Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier is as special as the Beer Festival itself.

1ltr mug during oktoberfest München. Golden colour. White tastefully head. First impression : watery, bubbles, little bitter, little sweet.

In a 1 liter HB stein/mug from First St Alehouse during Octoberfest. Pours dark gold with a white head that lingers (yes, the stein has space for the head). Not much smell (ok) but tastes of light bread, yeast, little hops, some sweetness on the malt. Nothing bad but nothing great about this one. More carbonated than most but very drinkable. And yes, I bought the stein for full of 1L of beer for $15 on "pint night".

Had a cup at Germantown OK to be rest. Good flavor but way too carbonated. Still not a fan of this polka music.

Itt a szeptember és így itt az oktoberfestbierek ideje, eme gyengéd egyeddel nyitottam a sörsort, bemelegítésképpen mindenképp hangulatteremtő volt.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat. Pours clear golden with a big creamy stable white head. Aroma of creamy malts, light cardboard.Taste is moderate sweet, white sugars with a light dry bitter honeyish finish, bordering cloying, too much sweetness for my likings.

On tap poured a clear golden hue w/ small fully diminishing head. Moderate bready malt aroma. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a light to moderate bitter finish of short duration. Tastes are light caramel, straw, and light toast. Light to medium bodied. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear gold. No head. Spicy, ginger biscuit sweet malt. A light grassiness. Taste is fairly sweet, with some bitterness last off. Palate is full, and a bit greasy. Finishes light, grassy bitter. The booze makes itself known in this, and it comes across a bit farty. Bit heavy going...

12o. Bottle shared, pours a bright yellow with white fluffy head. Aroma straight up is sweet malt. Flavor is lightly sweet malts and very little hops. Basic lager. Overall decent flavor for what it is.
