COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Munich Beer Festival, or Oktoberfest, is an event of superlatives - it’s the largest popular festival in the world, staging in the beer metropolis of Munich. Millions of visitors from all over the world flock along every year to enjoy its very special atmosphere. For this occasion, Hofbräu brews a rich, full-bodied beer which goes down ideally with traditional Bavarian cuisine. With its deliciously bitter taste and alcoholic content of 6.3% volume, Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier is as special as the Beer Festival itself.

Bottle, 50 cl. Clear pale orange with a rather small head. Very malty nose, toasted with bready notes. Taste is sweet malty, hayish, honey-like notes, light grassy, with a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle. High and lasting white creamy head. Clear dark yellow golden body. Grassy barley malt aroma with a somewhat sour note. Very sweet malt hay grass flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet finish. Alcohol level seems right.

I picked this up in the bottle at Total Wine in Henderson, NV. Crisp, clean taste; slight bitter finish. Light hoppy aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

There is a bit of skunkiness here, but I like that. Super clean crisp and dry festbier with a tiny bit of some really dark malt character.

2 finger head white all nice. The beer in front is kinda greeny pale gold pee color but more golden pale to light. Smell is light yeasty sweetness. taste is this light grassy sweetniss kinda like a puree sweetness on the tounge maltyniss and its heavy a bit in the belly. I like it over the last Oktoiberfest beer I had witch was from Mill street but I wouldn’t say this is a great beer to me. 5.3/10

Bionda beverina, dal discreto sentore di luppolo ma dal gusto troppo amaro. Mi sembrava una Becks luppolata e meno frizzante.

Bottle. Light gold pour. Thick foamy head with a little lacing. Smells of malts and citrus hops. Slightly hoppy bitter finish. The standard oktoberfest.

Draught. Clear, golden colour with a thin white head. Light sweet aroma with grains, pale malts and biscuits. Taste is light bitter. Medium body with an average carbonation. Finishes bitter with light caramel malts and some fruitiness and grains. A little bit bland, but who cares when it´s Oktoberfest?

On tap at Spotted Cow Hotel, Toowoomba. Poured a clear golden amber colour with a thin white bubble head that diminished quickly and laced poorly. High carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt - nothing outstanding. Taste of slightly sweet malt and very faintly of hops bitterness. Light body. Smooth, soft bitterness on finish.
