| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2004 Golden amber color with a decent white head. Malt aroma is mild, no hops as expected.
Sweet malt flavor is good but lacks intensity. Finish is lacking. Overall this is an average Oktoberfest. dberger624 (1028), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 18, 2004 Bottled at the Whistlers Inn in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. OK OFest. Was a nice golden color. Had a slight cream taste to it that lingered through the whole beer. Little on the sweet side not enough on the malt side. Reid (1093), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 15, 2004 Bought in the 12 oz bottle only says Hofbrau Oktoberfest..so I suppose it is the same beer.
Nice sweet malt aroma, with a tiouch of honey for some reason.
Pretty average in appearance for a Marzen a deep gold with a small white head...nice carbonation and lacing.
Flavour is a caramelly sweetness followed by a tangy bitter falavour.
Pretty nice and smooth on the palate.
Overall a nice Oktoberfest to drink in quantity..but no were near as good as Paulaner. Dickinsonbeer (3604), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 12, 2004 Very light color with a minimal head. Aroma is slightly stale with some sweet malt. Tastes a little off- slight skunkiness? Malty and slightly sweet with a mild bitterness in the background. Somewhat harsh finish. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

Has a slight sweetness that is matched by an infusion of hops. Good stuff. Ich lieb Deutschland! BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
