Slightly skunky aroma that gives way to sweet malt, toast and herbs — caramel, grain. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Pleasant bitterness sticks around. Medium body, slightly sticky texture and fizzy carbonation. scoth (294), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Pours clear yellow golden, with a four-finger lasting white head, good lacing. Biscuit, apple, and earthy aroma. Light body, crisp, lightly dry. Flavors of caramel and biscuit, with a hint of spice, and a mild bitter earthy grass finish. Very drinkable. I was disappointed that it didn’t seem to have much spiciness or any toasted flavors common in oktoberfest beers. michael-pollack (2759), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Huge, fluffy, mostely lasting, platina blond head. Crystal clear, gold colored body. Soft and rounded, light bready malt aroma. A discreet, but pleasant whiff og grassy hops. Taste is light to medium malty, quite crisp, with a proper sweetness, and some noticable bittering hops. Also a touch of acidulous fruits. Body is light plus. Smooth in the mouth. Balanced malty/bitter ending. A pretty good one.
