The color is a clear golden with a large white head that fades slowly, and the aroma blends light malts and bready yeast without being overpowering or offensive. The taste is slightly sour and slightly sweet, and the complementary palate fuses an average carbonation, light body, slick texture, and a light and fairly abrupt finish.

MRMedellin (209) - Bogota, COLOMBIA - APR 5, 2014
On tap at one of the German pubs in Sydney Australia. Basically is a golden beer with a white and stable head. Some citric aromas are felt, but at the same time some metallic ones appears, but certainly I’m not sure if those depend on the tap rather than the beer. Anyway the beer exhibit predominantly malty flavors combined with some bitterness coming from the hops, but with a nice and crisp end.

ARH (294) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 31, 2014
330mL bottle poured into a hefeweizen glass. The aromas off this one hint at a banana and clove quality, but start to turn towards grass and lemon citrus. The pour is an oily, clear straw yellow color with a huge, fluffy white head that retains nicely throughout the drink and leaves behind a decent lace. A medium sweet taste is complimented by a very light bitterness. An average amount of subtle, soft carbonation combine with an oily texture to help this one go down quickly. The medium body is primarily stone fruit (peachy) with some biscuit, buttery caramel, and a touch of grass. The grass shows up more towards the finish, which is dry with a very light pine and, even fainter, spice touch. The aftertaste echoes the earlier sweetness of sugary caramel and some biscuit. The aftertaste lingers, but it’s pretty mellow.

Metalchopz (2198) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 14, 2014
Half-litre brown bottle from the LCBO with a best before date: 05.12.2014. Pours a clean yellow colour with a white cap, average stay and some dirty lacing. Mild grassy hop aromas over light grainy malt. The taste is close, with the sweet malt over the grass this time. A decent Pilsner-style lager that goes down easy, refreshing, and is above average as not too sweet overall.
