This is bready is aroma and in taste. It offers a crisp intonation of sweet biscuit, slighty dry, but crisp. It isn’t too complex, but is very easy to drink, and to forget. Mild, but on par, with other dortmunders.

Color dorado con una espuma media. El olor augura cosas buenas. Presenta un aspecto magnífico con burbuja fina. Sabor dulce a caramelo. Una cerveza equilibrada a la altura de lo que me esperaba de una Heller. Bebible y refrescante.

Pours a bright golden color with a froth, medium sized head. Smells of sugar infused cereals, wheat and fresh cut grass with a herbal whiff atop. Drinks incredibly easy, refreshing and light bodied with an effervescent, sweet finish. Tastes of an aqueous softness with a slowly uprising malt breadiness, resulting in a pleasant toffee sweetness, together with some wheat and grass. Finishes with just the right amount of grassy crispness, a bubbly, lively carbonation and toffee. Nice, well composed beer, light and refreshing with the right amount of depth.

Bottle in the Twisted Lip, Middlesbrough. Pours blond with a fading head of white froth. Not much aroma. The taste is hay and grain with a touch of citrus and light spice. OK.

Green bottle. Poured into a flared pilsner glass, the appearance was a burnt yellow laziness. A one finger white foamy head leveled out at a nice pace. Mild stringy lace ran here and there. The aroma started off with some sweet bready to biscuity maltiness leaning into some mild grassy hops. The flavor is the same with some skunkiness starting to show through. Light semi-sweet bready aftertaste leaning into the finish, but that’s starting to show some skunkiness. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice decent clean sessionable smooth feel to it. Carbonation rides light. Overall, decent Hellas lager, good thing I drank it now. In less than a week, probably would be totally skunked. I lucked out. But still hate green bottles.

500ml bottle. White low (half finger) foam which reduces quickly but keeps a bit more than a ring from that point on.Golden straw colour . Malty bread aroma and a bit grassy. Flavour the same. Minimal bitterness, slightly sweet and a little cloying on the palate.

500ml bottle BB 3/5/17 Light straw color with good head. Slight grainy aroma. Medium bitterness with slight malt body and crisp finish. I was quite impressed with this one - a novelty to taste a decent German beer that wasn’t oxidized from the trip down-under and plenty of life left in it re BB. Could quite easily sit on this one at Oktoberfest.
