A decent German lager. The beer pours a bright and clear straw color with a decent sized white head. The head leaves a bit of lacing around the inside of the glass. The nose is mostly cereal with a light touch of grassy hops. The body is on the lighter side but the flavors are pretty delicious. I tasted plenty of hops with a bitter finish.

Very bitter flavor upfront and after taste. Yellow hefeweizen color without the hefeweizen taste. Decent German experience if you like tart and bitter beers.

Pour from an 11.2oz bottle. Clear golden brew with thin white head. Aroma of slight grass, sweet malts, a little metal. Taste is nice but not complex -light sweet malts at the start (best characteristic of this brew) with a modest grass in the finish to offset and balance, Nice carbonation makes for a pleasing palate. A quality brew that is enjoyable to drink.

Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Aroma pasteurised, taste the same, nothing more to say here, almost characterless beer impaired by attempted stabilization. Bad bad. As I see, my rating contrasts with others, so possible rerate in future.

Pale gold with a pillowy two-finger head great retention and ok lace. Aromas of grainy malt and bread. Taste is the same, with grainy malt sweetness accompanied by gentle spiciness and a hint of yeast. Light body, lively carbonation, prickly mouthfeel and a crsip finish. Not too bad.
