Aroma: Very strong banana aroma, plus figs, apricots, etc. Some coffee too. Super fresh. Mouthfeel: Medium and foamy mouthfeel. Taste: Super fruity (see above), slightly tart, and just a touch of bitterness. I like it very much. Finish: Very dry and fruity. No bitterness whatsoever. Overall: A very good example. Superb for refreshment.

Geschmacklich ist es hefig, trockenfruchtig, etwas wässrig. Im Nachgeschmack schmeckt man den Alkohol dann ganz schwach, dazu ist noch hopfen vertreten. Fazit: Trinkbar. Test vom 22.5.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,7,9,9,8 - 8,15

On tap @ Bavarian Bier Cafe in Sydney. Cloudy dark drown pour with a large pillowy off white head. Toasty aroma with bananas, bread, cloves and some nutty elements. Palate is smooth and medium bodied with nice sweet malt flavours and an easy drinkability. Less chewy than most other Bavarian wheat beers.

In bottle from Nina’s. Pours an amber brown colour with a fair beige head. Aroma of bananas and blueberries upfront with a nutty malt character also. Caramel, banana and wheat flavours with moderate carbonation and light CO2 prickle. Just coming off a little thin though.

Aroma di banana e crosta di pane. Nel sapore non si sente molto il lievito, oleosa e dolciastra all’inizio per poi virare con un leggero amarognolo (quasi basico e artificiale) finale. Forse sono stato sfortunato con la bottiglia, visto alcuni commenti favorevoli, devo riprovarla.

Clear brown with a decent pale head, served in a pilsner glass. Aroma is grain, toffee. Reasonably thin on the palate, slightly creamy mouthfeel, lots of maltiness. Taste is banana, clove, toffee. Very drinkable!

On tap at Whole Foods - Pours lightly cloudy amber with a thin tan head. Notes of caramel, banana, clove, bubble gum and toffee. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Quite nice.

Just a big-tasting beer when enjoyed on tap. Huge head and lots of carbonation. Has the traditional aroma of cloves and a great sweet, malty taste. One liter at a time is my fill (must be getting old) for this very smooth German beer.

Brown color with a big sized head. Aroma of dark malts. Sweet toffee flavor with only a Slightly after-taste of wheat.

50cl bottle. Brown colour with a good formation of a frothy, creamy and large head. Aroma is moderate toasty, sweet, with slightly clove hints. Flavour is bready, with touches of coffee with milk and a smooth final. Carbonation is soft to medium. Body is light to medium. Texture is creamy.
