Light beer or dark? With Weissbier, it’s all a question of taste! If you prefer a Weissbier with a mild, aromatic flavour, Hofbräu Schwarze Weisse is the right choice for you. This dark variant on Hofbräu Weissbier is refreshment in a deliciously mild form - yeasty and malty, and has got an alcoholic content of 5.1% by volume.

Dark puple brown colour with creamy head. Aroma and flavours of plums, banana, wheat. Taste is sweet fruity, with low carbonation and malty finish. Very drinkable.

(bottle) murky amber-brown colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of popcorn, paint and roasted wheat, with a touch of caramel, some yeast, powdered sugar and peanuts. flavour is mostly roasted wheat and peaches, slightly chalky, with a touch of yeast and some light grass in the finish. medium-bodied with lively carbonation.

50 cl bottle pours a dark brown ,should really be called dunkel rather than scwarze bier aroma is sweet grain and a bit of fruit taste is sweetish with bit of bitterness ok but nothing special

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Norway, on order.Brwon color, good foam. Very fruity aromas, some bubblegum and light malt; medium intensity. Medium body & complexity. Smooth sliky mouthfeel.Good bitterness and balance. Very enjoyable

Draught at Bierhaus NYC. Hazy reddish brown with large spongy beige head, faint doughy aroma, high carbonation, mellow, caramel like taste with a hint of citrus, abrupt finish. Quite smooth and easy to drink.
