I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Bottle from Trinkgut in Kleve or Goch, not for sure. The beer is dark amber colored and has a small stable head, with average carbonation. The aroma is malty and fruity, with tones of caramel, bananas, roasted malts, yeast and some spices. The taste is light sweet and malty and the notes from the aroma are well noticable. The finish leaves a light bitterness and some notes of licorice and caramel.

Aroma of yeast, cereals, some toast, banana, beautiful mahogany with a thin white/tan head, light body, medium carbonation, taste of caramel, some fruit (banana), light sweetness...good classic.

Bottle in Austria. Dark, hazy mahagony colour with a medium, lightbrown head. (Although it’s called schwarze weissen..). Nose is slightly sour, malty. Taste is slight banana, and very slight sourness in the beginning. Medium carbonation. Nice beer, but it’s a shame they call it schwarze..

Hofbraukeller, 2016 Starkbierzeit. Igazi tökéletes levezető hidratalo ital a megterhelő starbiertage után.

A hazy dark brown body with specks of yeast floating around and a large, fluffy light brown head. Nose has spice cake notes, banana, yeast and a hint of chokolate. Taste is mildly sweet with a somewhat bitter undertone and chokolatey accents that lead to a dey finish. Lively carbonation and medium palate. Decent dark wheat but nothing really special.
