Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber/orange color with a longlasting slightly off-white head. Has a slightly roasted wheat malty strong banana aroma. Sweetish wheat malty banana flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a sweetish wheat malty finish with some roasted hints and some hints of banana in the aftertaste.

Bottle @ Treffpunkt German bar in Nha Trang. Warm ruddy red brown and opaque. Aroma is yeasty but dry and clean with bread, toffee, and chocolate. Smooth palate lacks banana stickiness. Lots of chocolate with a dry finish that has such a pleasant touch. Good body on a well-made quaffable brew.

500 ml bottle. From Germany. HHOK blind tasting.
Hazy brown colour with average to big off-white head. Great contrast. Aroma is sweet banana and bread. Flavour is banana, bitterness and carbonation. Slightly watery and thin. Strange combination of Lager (Schwarzbier) and Weisse (Hefeweizen).

Color mahogany with compact and persistent head. The aroma is fresh, intense and grassy. In mouth the body is light of malt, while the end a little spicy.

bottle - Pours orangey-brown with a small creamy head. Aroma is banana, citrus, cloves and caramel, which transfer over to the taste as well. Creamy texture and the lively carbonation makes it very refreshing. Good dunkelweizen.

Pours a darker reddish brown with a small cream head that leaves a small film after the head leaves. Smell is of roasted malt, caramel, and bread. Taste is the same with notes of banana and nuts. Leave a mild buttery carbonation mouthfeel that’s pretty nice. I think this beer is a little underrated.

Half-liter bottle. Dark, cloudy brown with gold highlights. Ripe banana nose with notes of milk chocolate and caramel. Lightly sweet taste with a subdued, even bitterness and slight bready tang. Lively, medium-bodied. Refreshing for a dark malty wheat beer.
