0.5L bottle. Pours hazy orange with a thin white head. Aromas of banana, bread, smoke. Mild sweetness at beginning, with mild weisbier profile: some banana, lots of yeast. Finishes relatively dry with yeast coming through. Light body with a thin yet creamy mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Overall, not bad for a light beer, but not a very robust aroma/flavor profile.

On tap (0.5l) at Hofbräuhaus in Regensburg... Clody golden color, good head... For a light Weizen real good aroma of banana and citrus... One of the better light Weizen...

Bottle shared with McTapps. Surprisingly nice one. You can´t taste that this one comes just with 3,2 %. Not a rocket but a very tasty and yeast aromatic beer.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Look and aroma of typical Weissbier, means rich yeast and dough. Good head. Taste of sparkling yeast, leaves and dough. Quite lemon-like fizzy. Nice one for a light kind.

ThirstyBird (1603) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2012
Pours a hazy dull yellow orange with a big off white head that falls to skim. Smells like a watered down Hefe, banana and some clove. Taste starts off pretty well though in a slightly subdued way. I still get the banana, yeast, clove thing but then the taste just fall off the cliff and kind of dies in emptiness with a mediocre aftertaste. Pretty nice mouthfeel, creamy and smooth with nice carbonation. I would only drink this if I need to watch my alcohol intake.

At hofbrau, Hamburg. Dark golden coloured and unclear. Has a white head, fully lasting. Faint spicy aroma, sweet and yeasty too. Something burnt and sharp. Creamy texture and lively carbonation.

Draught in the Berlin Version. Hazy orange lemon with a fluffy white head. Aroma is light wheat and bubblegum. Flavour is a watered down version of a weisse. Texture is thin.

Test vom 27.12.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,5,6,6,11,6 - 6,40
