Bottle 50cl, a light amber beer with good head. Nose is nutty, typically bottom yeast like. Aroma is toasted, grassy hops, pleasant at the beginning the beer becomes boring with only light dry malt notes and medium bitterness.

50cl bottle. Drinkable mix of Helles and Keller, pouring cloudy light orange, with decent floral and late-onset hop zing, fruity yeast notes to provide some character, but a somehwhat moorish mouthfeel to be called truly refreshing, overall too lacklustre to count as summer beer.

Bottle. Pours hazy straw with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast with notes of hops and grain and a touch of citrus. Refreshing, bitter taste of hops with notes of fruit. Bitter finish with a touch of metal. Not bad.

On tap (0.5 l) at Hofbräuhaus, Regensburg... Dark orange color, good head... Intensive hop aroma of citrus... Refreshing medium herb flavor... No special ending...

500ml on tap. Aroma is light sweet and light apple. Some yeast. Appearance is hazelnut. Taste is quite bitter and light sweet. Has a fine bitter palate with an overall good refreshing style. Quite good.

Hazy golden color, with actual sediment in the bottle, and medium sized head. The aroma is light but also delicate, with some malt and hop. The mouthfeel is not too dry, but the flavor is simple, traces of malt, hint of cereals, common bitterness.
Simple.

Douberd (4638) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - MAY 28, 2013
500 ml bottle, bought in Germany. Poured into a lager glass. ABV 5.1% Light honey-like colour on the bod, with a tall, white and soapy head. Good retention, light lacing on the glass. Aroma of hay and malts, along with floral notes. Taste begins sweet as any lager at first, but it turns quickly to a quite hoppy bitterness, again with floral notes. Very nice. Medium thin body, fairly dry on the palate, light carbonation. Overall, nice and highly drinkable.

Slightly hazy amber golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, grain, light citrus, light straw. Sweet malty flavour. Sweet malty finish, light banana.
Not bad, just nothing exciting either.

Test vom 25.9.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,10,9,10,10 - 9,60

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Pershore Road, Birmingham. Pours a perfect golden colour, cloudy but, despite my best efforts, lacking the trademark head of foam. Taste has the expected bitter citrus tang, with a malty finish laced with Fairy liquid. All looks, no lederhosen.
