The liquid I poured from the bottle was pale copper in color with a medium creamy white head that left nice lacing on the Weiss glass. The aroma was a beautiful mixture of sweet malt, cotton candy, sour apple and clove. The flavor bursts forth initially with clove and sweet malt while the mouthfeel is soft. The middle begins to display hints of clove and the finish is long-lasting and brings fourth notes of banana.

An excellent Hefeweizen, but slightly grainy in the finish. The taste is outstanding, with a crisp finish.

10/20/10. 12oz bottle. Nice light orange/yellow pour with a thick, billowing, tight white head. Nice light banana aroma with a hint of spice, cream, and metal. Nice flavor with banana, cream, soft wheat, bubblegum, and just a dash of metal. This is very nice... I’m kinda surprised.

Bottle @ home. Light yellow/yellow-orange hazy body with a tan/yellow head. Lighter than most German Hefeweizen. Nice yeasty and wheat malty aroma with a bit of banana in there. A bit more bitter than other German Hefeweizen but that’s not necessarily undesirable. Good wheat malty body with some banana. Pretty unique and is well-done.

36 rates? German beers get shafted on RB. Murky, practically opaque yellow-tan. Steady creamy white head. Some creamy banana-clove notes in the aroma. A pretty solid, well executed Hefeweizen. Medium bodied, creamy and refreshing. A touch of lemon, some sweet malty tones. Excellent.

0.5L bottle from Coop, 5.1%, 1.40€. Appears clear in the bottle, had to twist it upside down to scrape the yeast from the bottom of the bottle before pouring. Pale hazy yellow, lively carbonation, perfect white head, foam looks like snow. Smells of yeast, fresh citrus, flowers, no skunk at all. Taste is basically citrus, some banana, fruity, sweet. Crisp, very refreshing. Yeast is there, but not invasive. A curious spicy aftertaste. Is somewhat similar of Belgian whites, reminds me of Hoegaarden. Medium body, long finish. Excellent Weisse.

Banana aroma dominating although this is a quite clean smelling hefeweizen. There is a sort of cloudy, fruity smell and some spice too along with some lemon. Hazy golden yellow colour with a large, foamy white head settling down to leave a thin cap on the pint. Very much like the smell with the banana flavour being the most noticeable with the spice and lemon in the background. The banana taste is pretty good and there is also faint some herbal flavours. This one is on the light side of medium bodied and is really smooth. The carbonation is low for the style but it’s not off-putting. I really enjoyed this one having sampled it in Hofbräu beer garden in Munich on a warm day which may have helped my rating slightly. The beer went down really well and is definitely one I look forward to trying again. *** for 1001 Beers to try***

The characteristic flavors are there, but I would like to see even more creamy yeast flavor. Good and stable Bavarian weissbier.

Wonderful, long lasting bubbles. Vey good, snow-white head, that seems to be eternal. Fruity/candy aromas and similar taste, not so much " contarsty", but pleasant experience.
