Powertrip (71), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jan 31, 2008 Darker yellow with a richer smell than other Hell beers. Large spotty head. Nose of berries, cat pee and light malt. Arrives with wheat and quinoa followed by a dim sweetness on the finish.

Stopped at wooden hut while hiking through the Alps and got this beer. It was rather plain, no distinctive aroma or flavor. A standard Hell bier.
MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Apr 9, 2007 (bottle) Clear, golden colour with a small foamy white head. Sweet, grainy strawy aroma with notes of citrus and a shy hoppy blend. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, medium to crispy carbonation. Malty and herbal hoppy taste with a slim and slightly metallic finish. Pretty bland Helles. pivnizub (3900), Porúří, Germany Mar 29, 2007 Bottle (traded with joss !): Straw-golden coloured, mid-sized creamy white head, slowly diminishing; faint sweetish-grainy nose, faint sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied, a spoonful of bitterness in the grainy finish. Average Helles.......... Jukkabro (2405), Tampere, Finland Feb 2, 2005 Standard lager color, big white head. Strongly fruity, sweet, hoppy, standard "bayerisch" aroma. Medium bodied. Fruity, malty flavor, mildly hoppy and round ending, fruits last nicely. Fine mild carbonation.
