COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
June seasonal. A lot like our Bohemian Pilsner: clean, crisp, and refreshing, but with a bit more hops added for a satisfying flavor.

Not a bad brew at all, and certainly nice on a warm summer day. I’d first describe it as crisp, but nothing really stands out to make it a noteworthy pilsner.

Pint at the brewpub. I must say I was really amazed by this Pilsener. Often breweries over here don’t get the right idea, but this one is very solid. It’s a yellow brew with a good head. The aroma is rather hoppy with a lot of grass and citrus bite along with dough and crackers. Palate is medium light and is a good vessel for the clean, crisp flavor. Lots of cereal and doughy notes, but most importantly: lots of bright, bitter hops. This is a pretty good take on the style.

You look long enough, you’ll find dissatisfaction in anything. After all the great beer and all of the joy I have fo Hofbrauhaus Newport, I found a dissatisfying beer. This summer seasonal was bitter and boring. You may as well have poured me a pabst blue ribbon as this drek. I finally found a beer in this wonderful place that I refused to finish. Drainpour.

This pours a clear light gold with a large, long lasting head. The aroma is full of peppery hops. Dry straw malt and ample lingering bitterness makes for a crisp refreshing beer.

This draft brew from the Hofbrauhaus Newport in the Cincy area poured a small sized head of foamy of unnoted size mostly diminishing white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and yellow orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild malts and hops. Its mouth feel is initially tingly crisp and bubbly with a lingering slightly tingly palate and a bubbly burpy acidic aftertaste. Its flavor contained malty hoppy notes. A very average brew.

Draft at Hofbrauhaus Newport. White small head that was mostly lasting,, sparse lacing, transparent, carbonated, and a yellow hue. Malty, hoppy aroma. Malty and bitterness in the flavor. Tingly palate. Light-medium body.

Draft at pub. Golden hue with medium white head. Aroma of heavy hops with sweet tone. Flavor was much to style with heavy bitter finsh. Very refreshing change of pace for this brewpub.
